Join a dedicated early childhood team supporting children during their most important developmental years. We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve early intervention and early childhood students (birth–5) throughout Columbia County.
This role offers a unique opportunity to focus on consultation and direct support, making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners and their families.
Key Dates & Schedule
?? Summer Programming (Required):
- July 6 – July 31, 2026
- No work on July 10 and July 24
?? School Year Timeline:
- Professional Development: August 24–26, 2026
- First Day of School Year Services: August 31, 2026
?? Work Expectations:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
- This is an in-person position for the duration of the assignment
What You’ll Do
In this school-based OT role, you will:
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments
- Develop and support individualized therapy plans
- Provide consultation and direct therapy services
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students (may vary)
- Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in IFSP meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with professional standards
- Travel throughout Columbia County to provide services in homes and preschool settings
Position Highlights
- Focus on consultation-based services with district support for coordination
- Work with early intervention and preschool-aged children (birth–5)
- Home base in St. Helens with travel throughout Columbia County
- Mileage reimbursement for travel between work sites
- Variety of settings: homes, preschools, and community locations
What You’ll Need
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Oregon
- At least 1 year of OT experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of professional standards and best practices
- Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Current health clearances as required (CPR, TB, etc.)
- Reliable transportation for regional travel
- Must be 18 years or older
Compensation
?? Competitive pay:
