School Psychologist – Hybrid (School-Based)

Contract Length: 39 weeks

An educational organization in Austin, TX is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time, hybrid school-based role during the 2026–2027 school year. This position supports students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success across multiple campus locations. The role is primarily in person, with flexibility for a 3 days on-site / 2 days remote schedule to support report writing and documentation.

Position Details

• Schedule: Weekdays
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Length: 39 weeks
• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• Setting: Hybrid (primarily in person)
• Interview Process: Virtual interview
• Timekeeping System: MaxView
• Travel: Local travel between nearby campus locations

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Interpret assessment data and prepare written evaluation reports
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and intervention plans
• Provide consultation and support related to behavior management, mental health, and learning strategies
• Support positive behavior systems and initiatives that promote a healthy school climate
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active Texas LSSP license
• Master’s degree in Psychology or related field preferred
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred
• Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements
