Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Contract

Facility: Regency Hospital of Northwest Indiana – East Chicago
Location: East Chicago, IN
Position Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm 

Compensation

• Local Pay: $55/hour (approx. $2,200/week)
• Travel Pay: $2,366/week total travel package (must be 50+ miles away to qualify for travel package) 
• Overtime paid at time and a half when applicable

About the Role

Regency Hospital of Northwest Indiana is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality speech and language pathology services in an acute or post-acute care setting. This is a great opportunity for an SLP looking for a full-time, weekday schedule with competitive pay in a professional clinical environment.

The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders, helping patients improve function and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions and patient/family education
• Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Schedule & Work Environment

• Day shift schedule
• 40 hours per week
• Clinical setting within Regency Hospital

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Prior SLP experience preferred
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
