Location: Elementary School Settings
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Pay: $55–$60/hour + Full Benefits
Start Date: 9/8/2026
Contract: 20-week assignment through February 2027 (with potential for extension/renewal)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students across two elementary school campuses. This full-time, split assignment offers a balanced caseload and the opportunity to work within specialized programs, including autism support services.

The OT will be responsible for evaluating students, providing therapeutic interventions, and maintaining documentation in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs) and district guidelines.

Assignment Details

Total: 40 hours/week across two school sites

Elementary School #1 – 0.4 FTE (2 Days / 16 Hours)

• FED 3 Autism Center-Based Program
• Includes COTA supervision responsibilities (dedicated time built into schedule)

Elementary School #2 – 0.6 FTE (3 Days / 24 Hours)

• FED program with reduced (½) caseload

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct student evaluations and assessments to determine therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans
• Deliver therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide supervision and support to COTA staff (as applicable)
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
• 1+ year of OT experience preferred (school-based experience a plus)
• Knowledge of and adherence to professional practice standards
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB clearance (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray as required)
• Current health certificate per state or contract guidelines
• Ability to meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
