Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – School-Based

Location: San Jose, CA
School Year: 2026–2027
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Contract Length: 180 days

An educational organization in San Jose, CA is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for full-time, in-person school-based roles supporting high school students during the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple openings are available with opportunities to work across several campuses.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Coverage: 2–3 school locations

Assignment Overview

High school student population
Caseload of approximately 45–55 students (may vary based on attendance)
Responsible for supervising RBTs within the program
Opportunity to work across multiple campuses while maintaining consistent support

Responsibilities

Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and evaluations
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Provide consultation, training, and support to staff
Supervise and support RBTs
Monitor student progress and adjust behavioral plans as needed
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with requirements

Requirements

Active BCBA certification (BACB)
Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Compensation Options

Local Pay: $80 per hour
Travel Pay: Approximately $3,358 per week, including housing and meals stipends
