Occupational Therapist (School-Based) – Oregon
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Duration: 40-week contract
Schedule: 40–41 hours/week
Pay: $72/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to support students in a school-based setting in Oregon. The OT will conduct evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, and collaborate closely with educational teams to ensure students can successfully access the classroom environment.
This is an itinerant role, so candidates should be comfortable traveling between school sites and working alongside multidisciplinary teams. OTs may also supervise or delegate tasks to a COTA.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform student evaluations and develop individualized plans (IEPs)
- Provide occupational therapy services in a school setting
- Document services in compliance with care plans and regulations
- Collaborate with educators and therapy teams
- Delegate tasks to supporting staff (e.g., COTAs)
- Travel between school sites as needed
Minimum Requirements
- Active Oregon OT License (or ability to obtain)
- At least 1 year of OT experience preferred
- School-based and/or pediatric experience preferred
- CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB screening + health documentation as required
- Ability to collaborate, accept feedback, and work within a team
- Must meet all federal/state/local requirements and be 18+
