Behavior Technician for the 2026-27 School Year

Position Highlights:
• Pay Rate: $23/hour - $28/hour DOE 
• School-based hours (daytime schedule)

• Per diem and long-term assignment options

Amergis Staffing is hiring compassionate and motivated Behavior Technicians to support students in school districts and juvenile detention settings. We offer both per diem and ongoing assignments, providing flexibility and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support to students
• Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision
• Support students with social, emotional, and academic goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications:
• Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
• Background in behavioral health, education, or related field is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
