Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices
- One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations

- Supportive team + streamlined onboarding - What You’ll Do: Provide respiratory care across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations Manage and operate Dräger ventilators Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, and therapy adjustments. Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans Monitor and respond to changes in respiratory status Educate patients and families on treatment plans Document care in Cerner EMR
- Required Experience (Strict): Please do not apply unless all are met:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (CRT not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years experience NICU AND Adult care experience required Experience with: Dräger ventilators Cerner EMR
