Amergis Staffing is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment at an outpatient imaging center in Carmichael, CA. This is a day-shift, 5x8 schedule (8:00 AM–4:40 PM) beginning August 3, 2026, supporting full-scope mammography services with occasional X-ray coverage during technologist lunch breaks.

Position Overview

The Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography, including 3D Tomosynthesis, digital mammography, and quality assurance procedures. This outpatient environment requires strong technical skill, excellent patient communication, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high clinical standards.

• BLS

• CRT/Fluoro

• CA Venipuncture Certificate

Travel Mammography Technologist Hourly Pay: $41.25 Weekly Meals: $602 Weekly Housing: $1,050 Estimated Weekly Pay Package: $3,302

Local Mammography Technologist Hourly Pay: $65 Estimated Weekly Pay Package: $2,600

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.  The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results.  The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment and survival. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current State License or Certificate in state where they will be working
• One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
