Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated Polysomnography Technologist (Sleep Tech) for a 13-week assignment at a sleep center affiliated with a critical access hospital in Eastern Oregon. This opportunity offers a night shift schedule working three 12-hour shifts per week beginning July 28, 2026. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with compassionate patient care while helping diagnose and monitor a variety of sleep disorders.

Position Overview

The Polysomnography Technologist will perform overnight sleep studies and monitor patients throughout testing procedures. This role is responsible for collecting accurate diagnostic data, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collaborating with providers to support effective treatment planning.

Hourly Pay: $37.62
Weekly Meals: $476

The Sleep Technician or Polysomnographer performs routine and complex procedures, to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinical disorders of the nervous system, in at least two of the following fields of technical Neurophysiology: Electroencephalograph, Evoked Potentials, or Epilepsy and Sleep.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in a biological or physiological sciences program or equivalent number of years’ experience in a biological or psychological field; as required by state regulations or contract specifications
• National Board Registration in one or more of three areas: EEG, Evoked Potential, Polysomnography is preferred and may be required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
