• Shift: Night Shift
• Schedule: 36 Hours Per Week
• Contract Length: 8 Weeks
• Start Date: June 10, 2026
• Interview Required: Yes (Microsoft Teams)

Position Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and interventions according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Assess and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and changing clinical needs
• Manage oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, airway clearance therapies, and respiratory equipment
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate findings to the care team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members regarding respiratory care plans
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• Current state licensure, if required
• Minimum of one year of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to meet all facility onboarding and credentialing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric respiratory care experience
• Long-term care or pediatric specialty experience
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment

Orientation & Onboarding

• Comprehensive orientation provided during the first week
• Orientation schedule: Wednesday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• First-day instructions provided prior to assignment start
• No specific scrub color requirement

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor.  The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations
