Position Overview
RDAs will assist dentists in providing comprehensive dental care, including chairside support, patient preparation, sterilization, documentation, and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients from a wide range of backgrounds. This is a 53-week contract with potential for extension.
Assignment Details
Modality: Dental Assistant Setting: Community Dental Clinic Openings: 2 Schedule:
Primary: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rotation: Must work 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM 1–2 times per week Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Length: 53 weeks Start Date: 08/24/2026 Interview: Amergis conducts interviews and makes hiring decisions Charting System: EPIC

Community-based care serving underserved populations
High-volume clinic (300–400 patients/day across departments)
Must be comfortable working with all ages
All contracts are indefinite with no set end date
Strong preference for candidates who value mission-driven work
Required Qualifications
Desire to work in a community-based setting
Ability to support patients from diverse backgrounds
Bilingual preferred (any language)
EPIC experience preferred
Strong communication and patient-care skills

Orientation Requirements
Orientation is mandatory and non-negotiable. Location: Fremont Clinic Duration: First full week on site

Local RDA – Contract Hourly Pay: $30 Estimated Weekly Pay Package: $1,200

The Dental Assistant provides support to the dentist during patient care and completes the preparation of the room and dental tools/equipment. The Dental Assistant complete intake paperwork, update patient records, sterilize and organize dental tools, and assist during any dental procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Current License/Certificate within state of practice
- One year experience as Dental Assistant preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
