Amergis Staffing is seeking two Physical Therapists (PTs) for highly flexible outpatient assignments. This client is open to any experience level, multiple schedule configurations, and both local and travel candidates. Interviews can typically be arranged within 48 hours, making this an ideal opportunity for PTs seeking fast placement and customizable scheduling.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will provide direct patient care, develop treatment plans, and support rehabilitation goals in an outpatient setting. The client is open to new grads, seasoned clinicians, and PTs seeking full-time, part-time, or per diem work.

Assignment Details

Modality: Physical Therapist Openings: 2 Schedule: Extremely flexible

• Start as early as 6:00 AM or as late as 10:00 AM

• Flexible weekend coverage options

• Willing to work around candidate availability when possible

Hours: 40 per week (FT), but PT and per diem also accepted Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 08/31/2026 Interview:

• In-person if local

• Virtual if traveler

• Interviews typically arranged within 48 hours Charting: None

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic interventions and monitor progress

• Document care and communicate with interdisciplinary teams

• Support outpatient rehab workflows

• Maintain a patient-centered, professional environment

Required Qualifications

• Active PT license – Required

• BLS – Required

• Open to any experience level (bill rate varies by experience)

• Strong communication and patient-care skills

Travel PT – High Experience Tier Hourly Pay: $39 Estimated Weekly Pay Package: $3,002 (Meals: $518 | Housing: $924)

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
