13-Week Travel Assignment | Pediatric Hospital Setting | Tennessee

We're seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a travel assignment at a respected pediatric healthcare facility. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team and making a direct impact on medication safety, therapeutic outcomes, and patient care in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Review, verify, and process medication orders
Evaluate medication therapies for appropriateness, safety, and effectiveness
Provide pharmacotherapy recommendations to healthcare providers
Monitor patient responses and identify potential adverse drug events
Educate staff and patients regarding medications, interactions, and side effects
Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, regulatory standards, and medication safety initiatives
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

Active Tennessee Pharmacist license required
Minimum of two years of recent pharmacist experience
Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
Pediatric pharmacy experience required
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel healthcare experience
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Three or more years of recent clinical pharmacy experience
