CVOR CST II Opportunity – Terre Haute, Indiana
Direct Hire | Full-Time | Rotating Shifts
A community-focused healthcare organization in Terre Haute, Indiana is hiring a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist II for a permanent, full-time role within a Cardiac Surgery program. This position offers exposure to open heart, thoracic, and vascular cases, a flexible staffing model with 10-hour shifts, Cerner charting, and long-term career growth in a collaborative surgical environment. Up to $10,500 sign-on bonus is available.
Position Overview
· Permanent, full-time role
· 40 hours per week
· Rotating shifts
· Cardio OR (CVOR) setting
· Cerner electronic medical record system
Shift Details
· 10-hour shift options
· Rotating schedule
· On-call rotation (approximately 10–15 calls per schedule)
· Rotation to general surgery when CVOR rooms are not running
Compensation & Incentives
· Salary range: $53,394 – $80,080 annually (based on experience)
· Up to $10,500 sign-on bonus
· Shift and weekend differentials

Key Responsibilities
· Scrub independently for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures
· Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
· Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies
· Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping
· Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards
· Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff
Requirements
· Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
· Active CST certification (required)
· BLS certification (required)
· New graduates must complete certification within 6 months
