Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift with Call

A community-focused healthcare organization in Terre Haute, Indiana is hiring an Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist (OR CST) for a permanent, full-time role in an acute care hospital setting. This position offers a broad case mix, consistent day shifts, Cerner charting, and long-term career growth within a collaborative surgical services team. A $10,500 sign-on bonus is included.

Position Overview

· Permanent, full-time role
· 40 hours per week
· Day shift
· Acute care operating room setting
· Cerner electronic medical record system
· OR-provided scrubs

Shift Details

· Schedule includes 4x10s
· One evening shift per week
· One on-call shift per week
· Weekend call rotation (Saturday and Sunday)
· Holiday call rotation
· No floating required

Compensation & Incentives

· Salary range: $50,378 – $75,546 annually (based on experience)
· $10,500 sign-on bonus

Key Responsibilities

· Scrub for a variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, and urology
· Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical cases
· Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies
· Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping
· Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards
· Assist with room turnover and restocking between cases
· Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff
· Support an average of 30–35 cases per day across services

Requirements

· Graduate of a Surgical Technology program
· Active CST certification (required)
· BLS certification (required)
· Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
· New graduates considered
· Ability to participate in weekend and call rotation
· Completion of 15 healthcare-related CEUs annually
