Location: White Plains, NY | $56,550 - $71,323| Permanent Role

About the Role:

(CSPDT) and is responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed, and tracked in a quality/timely manner through the hospital. Works independently with little supervision, qualified to train others and serves as a resource to Central Processing customers.

What You’ll Do:

Decontaminate, clean, assemble, inspect, package, sterilize, store, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment using proper infection-control and sterilization standards.

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain sterilizers, washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners, and related processing equipment.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality; select appropriate sterilization methods and document sterilization cycles and biological testing.
• Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, rotating, and tracking medical/surgical supplies; ensure timely delivery to clinical units.
• Serve as a resource for Central Processing workflows, maintain a clean work area, complete housekeeping tasks, and participate in ongoing education and competency requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid certification as a CRCST or CSPDT. (Or Grandfathered experience)
• Strong knowledge of sterilization practices, instrument processing, and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently, train others, and communicate effectively with clinical team

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual Pay: $56,550 - $71,323
• Schedule: 3pm-11pm Per diem available as well!
• Start date: February - March
