Position Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a rehabilitation team in Wabash, Indiana. This role supports Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans and providing hands-on therapy to help patients regain mobility and function.

The PTA will work closely with the Physical Therapist to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions
• Collaborate with the therapy team to adjust care plans as needed

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PTA program
• PTA license or eligibility in Indiana
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong communication and patient care skills
