Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technician – Salisbury, MD
Direct Hire | Full-Time
Pay Range: $64,000–$100,400 annually
Relocation Assistance: $2,500
Position Overview

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), you'll perform a wide range of laboratory testing while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Schedule: Days/Evenings
- 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures.
- Analyze, verify, and accurately report laboratory results.
- Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
- Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure testing accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and organizational standards.
- Document testing activities and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
Requirements
- One of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited program
- Bachelor's degree in a Biological Science with ASCP certification
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with at least 2 years of applicable laboratory experience
- ASCP certification required
- Blood Bank experience required
- Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
