Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Beloit, WI
Pay Range: $34.70 – $52.05/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Yes
Shift: 1st Shift (Varied)
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Hours per Week: 40 hours per week / 80 hours per pay period

Position Summary

As a Cath Lab Technologist, you’ll assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient imaging and patient monitoring. Working alongside cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing life-saving cardiovascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and other interventional procedures.
- Prepare and operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images in real time.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures, maintaining awareness of vital signs and safety.
- Administer contrast agents as directed and ensure accurate imaging documentation.
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with equipment setup and cleanup before and after procedures.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure efficient case flow and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, responding within 30 minutes when called in.
- Ensure compliance with all radiation safety and hospital policies.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Wisconsin Radiographer License (or eligibility)
- Strong foundation in general radiology and fluoroscopy
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation and reside within 30 minutes of the hospital for response
Preferred
- Previous Cath Lab or interventional radiology experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Schedule & Work Environment
- Standard schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- On-call rotation required with 30-minute response time
