We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with acute care experience to join our 22-bed Oncology/Med-Surg unit. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment with modern technology and strong teamwork.
Registered Nurse – Oncology / Med-Surg
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Schedule: 12-hour shifts nights
Salary Range:
ASN: $28.66–$47.29/hr
BSN: $30.66–$49.29/hr
Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000
Relocation assistance available
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to oncology and med-surg patients
Utilize EPIC for EMR and operate bedside equipment (vital signs, BiPAP, bladder scanners, SCDs, lifts, etc.)
Perform AM lab draws; manage central lines
Monitor patients receiving 24-hour chemotherapy (no administration required)
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Float as needed to medical, Med-Surg, and ONT units
Requirements:
Active Indiana RN license
BLS (AHA required)
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (oncology or med/surg)
Oncology certification preferred, but not required
Unit Details:
22-bed unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Required to float to other med/surg units as needed
Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
