Job Description
A large regional referral hospital and Level II Trauma Center in the Winchester, Virginia area is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a permanent, full-time role. This role requires performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and delivers high-quality patient care for individuals across the lifespan, from neonatal to geriatric. This role functions in a fast-paced and growing clinical environment that relies on professional expertise, teamwork, and collaboration.
Position Overview
- Permanent, full-time role
- Start date: ASAP
- Level II Trauma Center environment
- Provides diagnostic ultrasound services for patients of all ages
Shift Details
- 12hr day or 12hr night shift options available
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- On-call as needed
Compensation & Incentives
- Pay range: $28.30 – $43.34 per hour (based on experience)
- Shift differentials if applicable
- Eligible for up to $10,000 sign-on bonus
- Relocation assistance available up to $7,500

Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to department protocols
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Provide patient-centered care across the lifespan (neonatal through geriatric)
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology for diagnostic accuracy
- Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff
- Maintain accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail in all duties
- Support workflow and collaborate with the clinical imaging team
- Etc.
Requirements
- ARDMS Certification in at least 1 specialty
- BLS (AHA)
- 1+ years clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a hospital setting
