Location: UCHealth UCHlth Urgent Care Thornton, US:CO:Thornton

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

This is a float position and requires the ability to work at the following clinics: Thornton, Steele, Green Valley Ranch, Arvada, Erie Northfield

This role offers a clinical ladder for promotion. to progress from a Level I to Level II practitioner. Clinical ladders support enhanced professional development, provide a reward system for excellence in clinical performance, promote high-quality practice, and enhance overall job satisfaction among participants. The clinical ladder provides meaningful opportunities to enhance confidence for healthcare professionals in direct patient care roles.

Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Float pool differential will apply as will weekend differential.

Relocation bonus may apply for qualified candidates

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position.
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Radiography - X Ray Technologist:

  • Reviews patient history, initiates Radiographic images based on physician order and prioritizes procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation
  • Safely administers contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition
  • Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate
  • implements techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART)
