Description

Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Tulsa, OK 74133

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30). On-call rotation required approximately one weekend per month for emergency cases. Daily patient volume of 8-10 patients.

Highlights:

  • 91-day travel assignment in a hospital setting with interdisciplinary support including radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • General nuclear medicine focus including SPECT and nuclear cardiology studies (no cardiac stress testing)
  • Work with modern equipment including Siemens PET CT, Siemens and Phillips nuclear medicine cameras, and GE gamma cameras
  • Treat diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • First-time travelers welcome with 1 year of experience
  • One pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required
  • BLS certification required at time of submission
  • Valid Oklahoma or Compact allied license in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
  • Must be competent in both PET and general nuclear medicine procedures
  • Experience with Epic charting system preferred
  • Proficiency in various nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, renal studies, HIDA scans, liver imaging, and ventilation/perfusion studies
  • Ability to start and maintain IVs and handle radioactive materials safely
  • Must reside outside 75-mile local radius
