Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: May 25, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); Weekend coverage required (2 shifts per pay period, flexible with department needs); Float to units within competency as needed

Highlights:

• 48-bed medical surgical unit with 1:6 patient ratio across all shifts
• Diverse patient population including sepsis, COPD, post-operative care, trauma, respiratory failure, cardiac conditions, and more
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• 24-hour orientation with ongoing professional development opportunities
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a dynamic acute care environment
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active Idaho RN license required
• BLS certification required; ACLS required within 12 months of hire
• Epic charting experience required
• Minimum 2 years of medical surgical nursing experience preferred (1 year considered)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility location
• Proficiency in skills including IV management, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, PCA pumps, wound care, isolation precautions, and non-invasive airway management
