Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: June 1, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:30 - 17:00), Monday-Friday with rotating day off. Call required 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Two weekend shifts per contract.
Highlights:
- 91-day travel assignment at a Trauma Level I facility with 14 operating rooms and daily census of 45
- Work with diverse surgical specialties including orthopedic, general, neurological, vascular, and urological procedures
- Opportunity to utilize advanced surgical technology including robotic-assisted procedures
- Minimal call requirements with manageable 10-hour shifts and rotating schedule
- Epic charting system experience required
- Two periods of pre-approved time off available during assignment
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license eligible in Texas
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Travel nursing experience required
- Required experience in orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urology surgical cases
- Epic charting system proficiency required
- Preferred: Experience with DaVinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic cases
- Patient ratio experience: 1:1
- Must reside outside of specified local counties (geographic restrictions apply)
