Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient ratio of 1:4. Minimum of 6 weekend shifts per contract required.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic intermediate care unit specializing in medical, stroke, and neuro patients
• Work with diverse patient diagnoses including GI bleeds, pneumonia, sepsis, and respiratory diseases
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system experience required
• 24-hour orientation period with onsite module completion
• Float to similar progressive care units, medical-surgical, and ICU as needed

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; CPI preferred
• Experience with 1:4 patient ratios
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Skills required: cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management and interpretation, central line and PICC line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, wound care, IV starts and maintenance, heparin protocols, and cardiac drip management
