Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care (IMC) – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Patient ratio 1:4. This is a 91-day assignment ending August 31, 2026.

Highlights:

• Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit specializing in telemetry and stepdown care
• 14-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations requiring intermediate-level cardiac monitoring
• Epic charting system experience required
• Overtime available after 48 total hours in one week
• Orientation provided with module completion onsite

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Experience with Epic charting system mandatory
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, vasoactive drip titration, and cardiac drip management
• Skills required include arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line management, chest tube care, and post-cardiac procedure monitoring
• Geographic restriction: Candidates must reside outside specific counties in the East Texas region
