Description

Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off block schedule, night shift (20:00 - 06:30). Transition to day shift anticipated July/August 2026 through January 2027. Every other weekend required. Assignment duration: 26 weeks.

Requirements:

  • Active Texas pharmacy license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • PharmD and RPh credentials required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience required
  • Pediatric exposure or experience strongly required; retail-only pharmacy experience does not meet facility requirements
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Proficiency with sterile compounding, IV medications, pediatric dosing, and high-alert medications
  • Two professional references covering the past year
  • Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during assignment period
