Job Opportunity – Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (16:00 - 02:00), every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday). Patient ratio of 7:1. May be required to float to a sister hospital emergency department as needed.

Highlights:

• Work in a 629-bed short-term acute care facility with Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center designations
• Provide crisis assessments and consultation for both adult and pediatric patients in the emergency department
• Collaborate with emergency department providers and multidisciplinary teams on risk assessments and level of care recommendations
• Utilize Epic charting system in a teaching hospital environment
• 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours of orientation

Requirements:

• Full, independent licensure required as LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in Washington state or compact state – associate licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for both adults and pediatric populations
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Hospital experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention, mental health assessments, suicide/homicide/self-harm evaluation, and involuntary holds
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
