Description
Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Technologist – Anchorage, AK 99508
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30) with on-call requirements of 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend. Some Saturdays are included as part of regularly scheduled shifts. Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period.
Highlights:
- Work at a prestigious Magnet-designated Level II Trauma Center with 407 staffed beds
- Comprehensive procedural experience including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, STEMI, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitral Clip, PFO), and advanced cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart)
- Float opportunities within scope to Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, and neurointervention procedures
- 91-day travel assignment with potential for 1 time-off request per 13-week period
- Epic charting system with supportive orientation program

Requirements:
- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications current and valid
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Required clinical experience: Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Cardiac Monitoring, and Neuro procedures
- Alaska state license (pending licenses accepted; processing takes 10-12 weeks)
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify
- Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Epic charting experience preferred
