Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00), 40 hours per week. No weekends, no call, no floating between units required.

Highlights:

• Travel assignment at a 379-bed short-term acute care hospital with Level II Trauma Center designation
• Treat diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Work with a 1:1 patient ratio providing focused, quality care
• Epic charting system experience utilized throughout the facility
• 91-day contract duration with 8 hours of paid orientation

Requirements:

• Valid Physical Therapy license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with acute care settings treating orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical patients
• Skills in gait training, patient/family education, home exercise programs, and rehabilitation protocols
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius from the facility
