Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Location: Walla Walla, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (07:00 - 15:00), 40 hours per week. Weekend rotation of 1 weekend every 4 weeks. Expected patient volume of 8-9 patients per day.

• 104-bed short-term acute care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation
• Regional hospital serving diverse patient diagnoses including multi-trauma, TBI, SCI, CVA, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, and MS
• Float across acute care, medical, ICU, and 8-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility units
• Epic charting system in use facility-wide
• Close-knit, supportive therapy team in a community hospital setting

Requirements:

• Active Washington state Occupational Therapy license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (hard-stop requirement)
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with assessment, functional activities, acute and chronic disorder treatment
• Ability to float between all work areas including acute care, medical units, ICU, and inpatient rehab
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
• Team-oriented professional who demonstrates flexibility and strong work ethic
• 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
