Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Walla Walla, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00). Weekend rotation on a 6-week basis. Floating required between acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation units.

Highlights:

  • Short-term acute care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation and 104 staffed beds
  • Diverse caseload including multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, and MS patients
  • Work across multiple units including acute care, medical, ICU, and 8-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility
  • Epic charting system with comprehensive orientation provided
  • Collaborative, close-knit therapy team in a regional hospital setting
  • 91-day assignment with opportunity to work in a dynamic, varied environment

Requirements:

  • Valid Washington state Occupational Therapist license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required (hard stop requirement)
  • Inpatient rehabilitation experience highly preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Skills in functional and static splints, kinesiotaping, orthoplast, and edema massage preferred
  • Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
  • Must be flexible, independent, and possess strong time management skills
