Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Southeastern Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), rotating weekend coverage on a 6-week basis. Expected patient ratio 1:10. Float rotation between acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab units.

  • 104-bed short-term acute care hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation
  • Work with diverse patient populations including multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, surgical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
  • Collaborative team environment in a regional medical center serving a variety of diagnoses
  • Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
  • Free parking and flexible scrub attire policy
  • 13-week assignment through September 7, 2026

Requirements:

  • Active Washington state Occupational Therapy license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required (hard stop requirement)
  • Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with functional and static splinting, orthoplast, kinesiotaping, and edema massage preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Ability to float between multiple units and work independently with strong time management skills
  • Must be flexible, team-oriented, and able to adjust caseload to meet productivity standards
  • 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
