Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Burbank, CA 91505

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Southern California acute care medical center

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 - 18:30), 13-week assignment

Highlights:

  • Work with cutting-edge nuclear medicine and PET/CT technology, including Siemens PET/CT and multiple gamma cameras
  • Comprehensive nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac stress testing, thyroid imaging, bone scans, and specialized oncology studies
  • 392-bed acute care facility offering diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Float between outpatient center and hospital settings for varied clinical experience

  • Average daily census of 8 patients with oncology specialty focus

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine technology experience
  • Current California state license for Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification required
  • Current BLS certification
  • LA County fire card within last 30 days
  • Experience with a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac, thyroid, renal, GI, and oncology studies
  • Proficiency with IV starts and phlebotomy
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Ability to work with students and float between facilities
