Job Opportunity – Speech-Language Pathologist – Burlington, KS

Start Date: October 4, 2026

Location: Burlington, Kansas

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts for a 91-day assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Highlights:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver results in written form for medical records
• Participate in patient evaluation conferences with emphasis on discharge planning and rehabilitation continuity
• Assess and manage swallowing disorders in coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• Opportunity to conduct lectures and training programs for medical staff, students, and community groups
• Engage in total case management with systematic progress reporting and appropriate referrals

Requirements:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license eligible in the State of Kansas
• Rehab Level III certification required
• CPR certification required
• Experience with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorder treatment
