Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse Surgery – Mesquite, TX 75149

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Mesquite, Texas

Schedule: Days/Mid shift, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week, 13-week assignment. On-call requirement: rotating call 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.

Highlights:

• Surgical nursing position specializing in orthopedic, podiatry, gynecology, and general/laparoscopic procedures
• Primary focus on circulating experience with scrubbing skills considered a bonus
• Work with diverse case mix including total knees, hips, shoulders, ankles, and minimally invasive procedures
• 13-week travel assignment with full-time hours in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area
• EPIC charting system used throughout facility
• 12-hour orientation provided

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical nursing experience preferred, with focus on orthopedic, podiatry, gynecology, and general/laparoscopic procedures
• Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
• Recent Nursys report (within 30 days)
• Two professional references and completed skills checklist
