Job Opportunity – CVOR Technologist – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:45 - 15:00). On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays. Expected staff-to-patient ratio of 1:3. Reduced orientation period of 8 hours.

Highlights:

  • Work in a 379-bed Level II Trauma Center providing advanced cardiovascular surgical services
  • Participate in complex cardiothoracic and vascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, EVAR, and more
  • 22-room surgical department with comprehensive scope of cardiovascular and thoracic cases
  • Epic charting system and modern hybrid OR capabilities
  • Free parking available in designated employee/visitor lots
  • One pre-approved time off period available during 13-week assignment

Requirements:

  • Active BLS, CST, and NBSTSA certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of consecutive experience in cardiovascular surgery required
  • Extensive cardiothoracic and vascular surgery experience mandatory
  • Previous travel assignment experience required
  • Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I preferred
  • Compact state license required at time of submission
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
