Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Athens, TX 75751

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Athens, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Patient ratio 1:2 in a 10-bed ICU unit. Weekend coverage required.

Highlights:

• Work in a well-supported ICU environment with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with an average daily census of 8 patients
• Epic charting system experience required
• 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation package

• 24-36 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience: 2:1 or 3:1
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
