Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) with option for 36 or 48 hours per week; 6 weekend shifts per schedule period required

Highlights:

• 32-bed Intensive Care Unit with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios on all shifts
• First-time travelers welcome with 1+ years of ICU experience
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
• 24-hour orientation period with onsite module training
• Float to medical-surgical, stepdown, PCU, ER, or CVICU as needed (capped at 4 patients maximum while floating)
• Pending New Mexico or Compact state license accepted (must be obtained prior to start)

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (New Mexico or Compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with ICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:2
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, continuous IV sedation, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
