Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per schedule period.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 32-bed intensive care unit
• First-time travelers welcome with 1+ year of ICU experience
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 across all shifts
• Comprehensive orientation with 24 hours onsite and additional module training
• Floating may be required to similar units including medical-surgical, step-down, PCU, emergency department, and CVICU with a maximum of 4 patients when floating
• Interdisciplinary team support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico RN license or Compact license (pending license accepted, must be obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS preferred
• Proficiency in critical care skills including arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, ventilator management, titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
