Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Rotating weekend coverage as needed. Patient ratio 1:4-5.

• Work with a specialized patient population including CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, and other cardiovascular conditions
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Float opportunities to similar units within scope of practice with orientation provided
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation structure

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or cardiovascular nursing experience preferred (1+ years considered)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; CPI preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Cardiovascular nursing experience strongly required
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drip management and titration, post-cardiac catheterization and surgical care
• Experience with blood product administration, central line management, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and other critical care interventions
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
