Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (PCU) – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Options available for 36 or 48 hours per week. Rotating weekend coverage as needed. Patient ratio 1:4-5.

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit specializing in cardiovascular patients at a dedicated cardiac facility
• 55-bed unit with daily census of approximately 38 patients
• Collaborative interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Comprehensive orientation with 24-36 hours onboarding and onsite modules
• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac diagnoses including post-MI, CHF, and STEMI/NSTEMI patients
• Epic charting system in place

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 2 years strongly preferred
• Cardiovascular experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required; CPI preferred
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, management of dysrhythmias, cardiac drip management, and pre/post cardiac procedures
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• First-time travelers accepted; candidates must reside outside 50-mile radius
