Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with variable start times at 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM. Weekend coverage required. On-call distributed equally among nursing staff every 6 weeks, up to 6-8 shifts per 6-week period (including nights, evenings, and weekends). May need to cover one night shift within contract as needed.

• 277-bed acute care hospital with Trauma Level I designation serving diverse patient populations
• Comprehensive surgical services including trauma, neurosurgery, vascular, orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, and GYN procedures
• Daily census of approximately 25 cases across multiple specialties
• Epic charting system with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Free parking available for staff
• 91-day travel assignment with 40 hours of orientation

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience with 2+ years specifically in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, laparoscopic procedures, robotics, and extensive knowledge of specialized surgical equipment
• Ability to float to affiliated hospitals in the region
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
