Description
Job Opportunity – X-Ray Technologist – Portland, OR 97225
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area
Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM (4x10-hour shifts). On-call required: 3 shifts per month. Block scheduling required. No weekend coverage required.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment at a 536-bed short term acute care teaching hospital
- Work with diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Average daily census of 475 patients with 280 visits per day
- Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
- Up to 6 days of pre-approved time off available

Requirements:
- Active Oregon state license or ability to obtain prior to start
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy permit required
- Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray Tech experience
- Proficiency in required procedures: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal imaging, surgery/C-arm
- Epic charting experience strongly preferred
- Experience with neonatal and infant patients preferred
- Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
- Reliable transportation required
- 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
