Job Opportunity – Speech Language Pathologist – Apple Valley, CA 92307

Start Date: June 30, 2026

Location: Apple Valley, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Hybrid position handling approximately 1-3 adult outpatient cases per day with the remainder in acute care hospital setting. No call or weekend coverage required. Assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Highlights:

• Hybrid inpatient and outpatient speech language pathology role at a 212-bed acute care hospital
• Perform approximately 8 visits per day with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must be able to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies
• Epic charting system used for documentation
• Free parking provided at the facility
• Guaranteed hours with limited call-off provisions

Requirements:

• Active California state license for Speech Language Pathology (must be in hand prior to start)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience with ability to work independently
• Proficiency with dysphagia, acute care, adult outpatient, and CVA patient populations
• FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) skills required
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• First-time travelers are considered for this position
