Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Technologist – Newberg, OR 97132

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Newberg, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Friday through Sunday. Contract duration: 91 days (approximately 13 weeks). No on-call required. No floating between units.

Highlights:

• Work with Philips and GE ultrasound systems in a well-equipped 4-room department staffed 24/7
• High-volume breast ultrasound work including biopsies, with support for certification training and education
• Cover diverse case load including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department procedures
• Perform a wide range of procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and fine needle aspirations
• Join a community hospital setting with a 1:1 patient ratio and collaborative team environment
• Baseline vascular skills required; complex vascular cases are covered by specialized staff

Requirements:

• Oregon state licensure required
• ARDMS AB (Abdomen) and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications required
• ARDMS BR (Breast) certification preferred but not required; training support available
• ARRT S and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Proficiency with Philips ultrasound systems required
• Experience with neonatal patients preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for this assignment
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
