Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Mission Hills, CA 91345

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Greater Los Angeles area

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Patient ratio 2:1. Float rotation to ICU overflow and PCU/Telemetry units as needed. Weekend coverage required; must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays.

Highlights:

• 377-bed acute care Magnet-designated facility with Level 2 Trauma designation and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center
• High-acuity neuro population including traumatic brain injury, CVA/acute stroke, post-craniotomy, and spinal cord injury
• Comprehensive cardiovascular care including STEMI receiving, CABG, valve procedures, IABP, and TAVR
• Advanced critical care including CRRT, sepsis management, multi-trauma, surgical intensive care, and multisystem organ dysfunction
• 24-bed ICU with 12 overflow beds; daily census approximately 28 patients
• Epic charting system with full interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory, physical therapy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Active California RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required; travel nursing experience required
• Strong neuro ICU experience required; Level 2 Trauma experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and LA City Fire Card (within last 30 days)
• Epic charting experience preferred; community hospital experience required
• Competencies in ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, invasive monitoring, and advanced critical care procedures
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
