Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist / PET-CT – Mission Viejo, CA 92691

Start Date: June 30, 2026

Location: Southern California acute care facility

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour format (variable start times 07:00 - 09:00). Rotating weekend shifts, post-shift and weekend call coverage required. 13-week assignment.

Highlights:

• Work primarily in PET-CT with potential to support Nuclear Medicine department as needed
• Reduced non-billable orientation (0 hours versus standard 40 hours)
• 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Epic charting system and Siemens equipment (Symbia SPECT-CT, Biograph Horizon PET-CT)
• Average 6-7 PET-CT scans daily and 9 general nuclear medicine studies per day
• Free parking provided

Requirements:

• Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience with at least 6 months PET experience (required)
• First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years of experience
• PET certification preferred but not required with demonstrated PET experience
• Epic and Siemens equipment experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to float between Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT as needed
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
