Job Opportunity – Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Apple Valley, CA 92307

Start Date: June 30, 2026

Location: Apple Valley, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), 5x8-hour shifts. This is a hybrid position providing both inpatient acute care and outpatient services, typically 1-3 adult outpatient cases per day with the remainder in acute hospital settings. No call or weekend coverage required. Total assignment duration of 13 weeks.

Highlights:

• Reduced non-billable orientation of only 24 hours versus the standard 40 hours
• Work in a 212-bed acute care hospital with Epic charting system
• Approximately 8 patient visits per day with fluctuating census serving adult and geriatric populations
• Must be able to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies
• Free parking provided at the facility
• Guaranteed hours with minimal call-off policy (facility may call off once per two-week pay period)

Requirements:

• Active California Speech Language Pathology license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• FEES certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience; must be able to work independently
• Experience with acute care, adult outpatient, CVA, and dysphagia required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• LA County Fire Life Safety Card required within the last 30 days
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
